NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion exercise Black Bear 2011 culminated on Monday 19th September in the Military Training Area Lešť by so called VIP day. Practical presentations that provided picture of the main episodes as well as general objective of the exercise were observed with interest by valued distinguished guests. There was also among them Defense Minister of the Slovak Republic Ľubomír Galko, Chief of General Staff of the Slovak Armed Forces General Ľubomír Bulík and foreign guests. The Czech Republic was represented by the First Deputy Defense Minister Jiří Šedivý, Chief of General Staff of Czech Armed Forces, Army General Vlastimil Picek, from Poland the Deputy Chief of Polish Armed Forces General Staff, Vice Admiral Waldemar Gluszko and Croatia's Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia Admiral Zdenko Simičič. Chief of Military Police /Provost Marshal/ at NATO Headquarters Colonel Govaarts Josephus was also present together with Military Police chiefs from the participating nations, from Czech Republic Brigade General Vladimír Ložek, Division General Miroslav Rozmus from Poland, Lieutenant Colonel Tihomir Zebec from Croatia and Chief of the Slovak Military Police Colonel Jaroslav Hamár.

Guests expressed their satisfaction with presented demonstrations, which according to them show that preparation of the Multinational Military Police Battalion is on a good way.

The exercise was officially concluded during the re-transfer of authority over the exercising units from the battalion commander to their national military police headquarters chain of command. Colonel Vít Gabrhel, director of the exercise Black Bear 2011 expressed his satisfaction with its results and with approach of the staff members und exercising units.
