Multinational Military Police Battalion Command Post Exercise - Day two.
On Tuesday, 10 May 2011 after initial briefing chaired by the exercise director (EXDIR) COL Vít Gabrhel and welcome speech of the vice-rector of the Armed Forces Academy, Doc. Ing. Pavel Nečas, PhD, the MNMPBAT members took assigned working places and the exercise started with simulation of the individual situations. Main task of the day was simulation of the following topic: Capture and apprehension of local drug dealer and transport to local police station upon request submitted by chief of the local police. Another partial incidents and actions were implemented in this simulation as well with intent to examine leading abilities of the battalion commander, his staff and unit commanders. Every action that battalion members took to solve given situations during the simulation was conducted under strict supervision of the evaluators.
At the end of training day EXDIR chaired the after action review briefing with focus on evaluation of the measures that has been taken by battalion commander, staff and platoon leaders as response to simulated situations. The evaluators provided most important feedback information for the battalion members based on evaluation of their particular actions during the simulation.
