Early in the evening of 19th September with ceremonial line up of all exercise participants the NATO Multinational Military Police Battalion exercise Black Bear 2011 that in premiere took part in Slovakia at Military Training Area Lešť wrote its last chapter. During the exercise military policemen and women from the four countries – Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia took benefit from possibility to practice their skills in training facilities of the Institute of Special Health Care and Training of the Ministry of Defense Lešť that offered necessary background and advanced training areas to training audience. Together with using of individual components of the tactical simulator MILES 2000 helped with creating of realistic common training environment for the Polish, Czech, Croatian and Slovak military police units.

The exercise director Colonel Vít Gabrhel thanked all exercise participants for their effort to accomplish all given tasks during the exercise. Together with the Director of the Military Police Colonel Jaroslav Hamár handed awards and gifts to selected members of staff and exercising units.

All exercise participants then in the evening attended social event in the community centre in Pliešovce, that made conclusion over the successful exercise Black Bear 2011 in Slovakia. Their welfare was improved by performance of the folklore group Jánošík and rock band Divalence /http://bandzone.cz/divalence/ from Trenčín. See you next year in Poland...
